It is common practice in Spain to attend for a check-up and obtain a schedule of treatment and a price. Most people will obtain a second opinion and price from another dentist in the policy network.

Our suggestion is that you take the Spanish dental insurance for 12 months only and during that time have all your checks done and seek treatment. Before the last month of the policy have one final check-up then give the obligatory 1 months notice to avoid an automated renewal.
