REPATRIATION TO YOUR HOMELAND
The DKV medical plan covers the repatriation of a deceased policyholder to their country of origin.

This cover reinforces DKV’s commitment to meeting the needs of foreign nationals residing or studying in Spain.
Beyond providing peace of mind and support during particularly sensitive situations, this coverage addresses a genuine need for many clients; repatriation is a requirement often requested by certain consulates and immigration offices during the process of obtaining or renewing visas and residence permits.
This benefit is designed to support families during one of their most difficult moments by managing the entire process of transporting the deceased policyholder back to their home country, thereby sparing the family from additional financial and administrative burdens.
What should be done if this coverage is needed?
Family members or designated contacts should report the incident to the 24-hour assistance service provided by ERGO Travel Assist line (ERGO Seguros de Viaje):

Furthermore, this benefit will be included in the immigration-related insurance certificate, allowing the policyholder to easily provide proof of this requirement whenever necessary.
With this addition, DKV Visado continues to evolve, offering increasingly comprehensive protection tailored to the real-world needs of international clients and the requirements associated with immigration processes.
